Facilities

For your own enjoyment and to be fair to all the players:

  • Dogs or any other animals are NOT allowed.
  • Switch off mobile phones and pagers.
  • Cameras and video cameras are PROHIBITED.
  • Wear suitable shoes for walking around course.

Also in respect of players:

  • Do not talk or move about while they are playing a shot.
  • Do not speak to them while they are on the course.
  • Do not ask the players for autographs on the golf course.
  • For your own safety walk, don't run, keep behind the ropes and barriers around the course, use the official crossing points and obey the Marshals; they are trying to make your day as enjoy as possible.
  • Finally please display your admission ticket or badge prominently at all times.

Tented Village

The Castle Village will be offering catering, programmes, draw sheets, and a number of lifestyle outlets.

First Aid

In the event of an injury or in an emergency on course, please contact the nearest Official.

On Course Catering:

There will be a selection of both hot and cold fod available in the tournament farmers market.

On Course Toilets:

There will be adaquete toilet facilities on site with relevant signage.

Car Parking:

Reserved Car Parking

Spectators with car park badges should follow the road signs to Killeen Castle then follow the on site signs to the relevant car park.

Public Car Parking

All parking will be on site at a cost of €5 per car.

Inclement Weather Policy for Spectators:

Signs will appear on the leader boards around the golf course prior to inclement weather moving into the area. When the WEATHER WARNING sign appears, marshals will be instructed to start clearing grandstands and spectators are advised to take precautions PRIOR to play being suspended. If the siren sounds, seek shelter immediately. Avoid open areas, hilltops and high places, isolated trees, golf carts and wire fence.

Information

The Championship will be decided over 54 holes of stroke play with one round being played on each of the three days The field will be reduced to 60 players + ties after 36 holes. On Friday and Saturday play will be in three balls and in two balls on Sunday. In the event of a tie there will be a continuous sudden death play-off
